Can KopTalk debit my card as they please?
Can KopTalk debit my card as they please?
Solution
No. KopTalk can not debit your credit or debit card at any other time. Your card is debited when you join and if you renew (PayPal only).
Please may we bring the following links on our support site to your attention.

Can we just point out one more time after you read those articles that we cannot ever take any manual payments from you, at any time. This is impossible. At no time do we even know your credit or debit card details. The only payments that can be debited are the ones that you authorise/create when you sign up or renew. If you try to sign up now as a new member via PayPal but don't complete the process, you will see it explains how their autorenewal feature works.
For example, if you cancel your sub with us, you must cancel via PayPal also. This is stated clearly on PayPal's sign-up page, on our support site and also in the renewal email reminders that we send out. It's not a hidden feature and there's no conspiracies, although some of our former (banned) members will tell you differently.
Providing you follow the very clear instructions, there can be no errors. If you don't it's still not a problem, you simply need to contact us and we will help and where necessary refund you straight away.
We cannot re-activate anyone's membership that has been cancelled via PayPal by yourself. This is also impossible. If you have made two payments in one month, you must have sent a manual renewal payment around the same time that an autorenewal has gone through, not knowing that you already had an active sub. Again, in our renewal text it tells you how to avoid this mistake. Again if it happens, it's very easy for us to rectify.
We're here to help. If someone chooses not to renew and they have been rebilled because they didn't cancel their sub as instructed, we don't say "No you must stay for another year", we simply cancel their sub and refund them without any fuss. Anyone who suggests differently is telling porkies.
Remember, to turn off your autorenewal, simply log-in to your PayPal account and cancel your subscription. As your renewal date approaches we will remind you to send a manual payment, should you wish to continue supporting the site.
One last time, KopTalk can not take payments from you as we please. PayPal can only take your initial subscription fee upon joining and your autorenewal if it's set-up. The onus is on you to read your emails properly. They're very easy to understand if you spare a moment. If you simply ignore them or scan over them, you may find yourself making an error. We also have a support site here at
www.koptalk.info
that points out how PayPal works.
The majority of our members prefer the autorenewal feature hence why it exists. A member can turn it off but not on, hence the reason why it is on upon joining, as it clearly says during the sign-up process and in our emails ahead of your renewal date.
If you join via Clickbank none of the above is applicable.
Still confused? Contact us and we'll help you as best as we can. Failing that run all of the above via PayPal for their confirmation - thanks.
